Do you buy each other anniversary presents?

We have our 7th on Sunday and I don't think I have ever bought him one as I always struggle with ideas. It seems to be much easier to buy for a woman...flowers or perfume etc. So wondering if any of you do buy for your husbands, and if so any ideas?

Or maybe it's more for the special anniversaries?

We don't in general although we did for our tenth anniversary because dh wanted an excuse to get new golf clubs Grin

I wouldn't get into the habit of it personally. To me it would be more important to try to make some time together eg a nice meal, bottle and dvd in or, if babysitting is easy to come by, a nice meal out or trip to the cinema etc.

I do, if I remember. DH always does. Blush

7th anniversary is wool. You could get him a nice autumnal scarf.

Never. In fact, as of this moment, I know that our anniversary is in February but I'll be damned if I can remember the date Blush

A scarf :) I love it!! Yes I think we are going to try and go to our favourite restaurant which will be lovely as we don't go out together much.

No we don't, never have, but that's down to lack of money. My birthday is also 2 days after our anniversary (so no chance of him forgetting it Wink) and what money we do have will go on my birthday present. If we do have any extra we will spend it on going for a meal to celebrate rather than presents.

We have been married 22 years and we don't buy presents. A card yes. Sometimes we go out for dinner, sometimes we have a takeaway at the dinning table. We had a bbq with family and close friends on our 10th, we went away for a weekend on our 20th. Still no presents . So the next noticed anniversary for us will be 25th. I cant think what to buy my DH for his birthday and Christmas so to think about an anniversary present would be too much for me. haha !
