For the past week my H and I have been having almost daily sex. This is unusual in the fact that we had very irregular sex prior to that mainly because he had problems maintaining an erection or at least not totally hard. However he has been rock hard when in bed with me most evenings and even is ready for more straight after he comes. I think he may be using viagra but he says he isnt. What do you think as I'm not sure this is a good idea.

If he is and it isn't prescribed then it's a very bad idea - it can have some unpleasant side effects.

How old is he?

Lots, not least it can damage your heart.

I doubt many 46 year old men would be ready for sex again straight away naturally Hmm.

We managed 3 times in one day (not one after another, with a few hours in between) on holiday but DH was knackered and asked if I was trying to kill him Blush.

I was going to say is he having normal erections in his sleep (4 - 6 a night is normal for healthy men) , but if he was taking something, how would you know?

Sounds a bit dodgy tbh.

If he's taking anything then it's probably Cialis. It lasts 36 hours. If he was using Viagra to get a hard on every night he'd be popping them like smarties. What's he like in the mornings?

seems normal in the morning.

is viagra a short period remedy (based on your comments)

Malificence - well he could just about manage once never mind twice so it is strange. He has tried to have sex in the mornings as well as he has massive erections the past week or two in the mornings (most of these I had to rebuff as I'm tired).

Concerned about the heart thing, surely they wouldnt be able to sell it.

He's on viagra. Especially if he's hard after he orgasms. The massive erections is another clue, especially if he's large when, finally, flaccid.

I've not heard about the heart trouble but certainly there have been reports of (don't snigger) men going blind, though this is rare. Shock. The heart thing must be rare too.

It's short term. Viagra doesn't restore erections it merely aids.

There is a towel analogy regarding erections.
Teenage/twenties - can hold a bath sheet
Thirties - can hold a bath towel
Forties/fifties - can hold a hand towel
Then it gets, eventually, to paper towel.

Sorry meant to say cialis. Agree with BenHer

Viagra can work for up to 4 hours.Whatever he is taking it won't manufacture his desire for you.All it will do is facilitate the opening of the arteries in his penis to take in more blood,so he will feel harder and bigger.Obviously he fancies the pants off you.Enjoy!

...or Levitra. The effects can go on for several days.

...and yes, all three are readily available.

It's serious medication, all sorts of complications can occur if he has underlying health problems or is on any other medications, because it acts on micro-circulation.
He's being very silly if he's taking it unprescribed.

There are natural aids to ED - Ginseng, gingko and pomegranate extract all work well at restoring blood flow.

He could also be taking something like Vigrx, which is a herbal male supplement.

Unless he's suddenly lost weight and got ultra fit, his new found potency is suspicious, to say the least.
