EarlyBird Tickets to WorkFest (7 June), Mumsnet's dedicated women and work event, are now on sale!
Just found out my job is going. I can either;A) apply for my own job up against my colleague. If unsucessful options below kick in.B) be offered another job on the organisation. This would be on less money as there are no posts of my grade around. Plus probably will not be a good job I am sure.C) take redundancy but the amount is less than 12 months salary and i would have no job obviously.I would love to tell them to fuck off but need to consider my options of course. Would love to pack it all in but while we could survive short term it would be too hard long term. I am a qualified social worker but been out of it for over 10 years. I have seen lots of jobs in that field but tbh don't feel I can do it now.Feeling very pissed off and uncertain about the future. Wondering if, on one salary we might get tax credits. Dh gets £28 thou ish pa.What should I do!
