recipe for cheats cheesecake with jelly?

Have heard of a cheats cheesecake topping using jelly, dissolved with a little boiling water and then something creamy (evap milk, cream, philli cheese?) and it sets because of the jelly. Anyone tried anything like this? Thanks folks
