I have stupidly lent my Nigella How to be a Domestic Goddess to a friend and she of course is away for the weekend.....

...and I need to make my sister's 30th birthday cake for her party on Saturday night!

Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh! Anyone got a copy and would be kind enough to post the recipe as I really prefer this cake for shaped sponges that need to support quite a bit of icing.
I was planning to make it this afternoon but everything is now on hold.....unless a mumsnetter can spring to the rescue!

Thanks in advance!

THank you SO much

Life saving!

I didn't reply straight away as I was in the kitchen in a flash! Cakes now cooled and ready for icing
