Went to a friends house and her dh was doing lamb in slow cooker 'er, I think its wrapped in herbs and theres some white wine' she said. I was very envy and it smelt heavenly!

Can anyone suggest a good dependable slow cooker recipe for cooking lamb (not is a stew or casserole or sauce, just 'on its own' iykwim) as we're having friends round sat and it would be nice to do?

Thanks

We did one a while ago - it was a shoulder, we rubbed it with moroccan type spices and put it on low for about 8 hours.
We didn't add any liquid.
Was delicious smile
