I seem to be baking loads lately but chocolat is costing me a fortune. Can anyone recommend a good seller of choc chips for cooking ?

I bake quite a bit too - chocolate cakes, tiffin, brownies etc and use an awful lot of sainsbury's 'basic' chocolate in the white wrapper at less than 40p for 100g bar. The dark, milk and white chocolate are all fine for baking.
Occasionally if I'm making something special I'll splash out on really expensive chocolate but no-one ever notices the difference.
I've also had good results using the Moser Roth chocolate you can buy in Aldi - the really dark stuff in the black packet 70%/85% is excellent, as is the milk one. This costs about 90p for 125g made up of 5 individual wrapped pieces.
As I only tend to use chocolate chips for decoration I buy them from someone who makes chocolates locally - her small bags cost £1.00 but are worth the money - definitely too good to melt!
the tesco value stuff is great for cooking, and also their next level up....not sure of the brand but often the value stuff is sold out
the white chocolate melts really nicely too if you want to cover anything....normally even the good stuff will singe and burn in a heartbeat.

I bake a lot and buy good quality couverture from home chocolate factory online.
Okay, not a pittance, but very cheap considering its the good stuff. I buy the 2.5kg bags
