Miracles R Us anybody else confused?

I am listening to this but I am thinking Daunt and Dervish and expecting the Scots guy to start talking.

The first one I was really confused, it took me until at least half way through before I realised it was a different program.

Still sounds like it though.

What station ? What day was it on ?

Tried looking at Monday on Radio 7, then Radio 4, didn't spot it if it has that title.

It's on 11.30am on Wednesday Radio 4. Today it just got silly. It is people who sound like they should be in WW2 yet have Blackberrys. (Or is it Blackberries, like the fruit?)

I think the miracle was talking the controller to put this on.

Sorry, I know the show you mean now. I heard the first and was not fully taken with it. Know what you mean about Daunt and Dervish too.

Was checking today's schedule and found it, so listened to episode 2, again, not convinced it would catch my interest like some drama.

I suppose it is in a nominally 'comedy' slot but it doesn't meet that brief either. Must have been chatting too long with my neighbour today as I came into the house just as it ended and thought "Surely it wasn't on at 11.00 but 11.30" and then saw the time!

Going to listen to today's on iPlayer, since two of my least favourite topics are on now (History of the World... and it's about Religion... gah!)

Oh, as for the controller, I wonder if it was in his "let's see how long before I have to announce I am leaving R4" period, when he could have happily misjudged anything on a whim as he would know that his leaving would overshadow any rubbish he had authorised (though he probably expects quality control to be exercised lower down, and may rubber stamp anything which has a routine budget rather than some special project, such as his 'baby'... that 100 objects thing that gets three airings a day whenever it is on, to the exclusion of the 10:45 drama being repeated when those out at work could listen to it...

Not everyone has iPlayer access, though he'd perhaps never acknowledge that some bits of the UK don't have broadband or computers either. (Sorry, my pet hate when a BBC radio programme came out with statistics that only 50% of households in Wales have a computer, and yet there are increasing "find it on our webpage" endings to radio shows.)

Well, must say I enjoyed this week's (Sylvia getting into mischief while house sitting) more than last week's (putting off American academic from romantic/stalking intent).

That's exactly what it sounds like! It's Daunt and Dervish who for some reason are in the present day and have set up a less interesting business. Could they not get back to detecting in the 1940s, please?
