It's very funny. Reminds me of "Radio Active". Today's items about the Digital Killer Robot and the Satanist Thought for the Day broadcast were especially good. I love Alice Arnold and her deadpan, totally Radio 4 voice, and her little throw-forwards.

It is very good. Sometimes reminds me a bit too much of The Day Today, though.

Some lovely absurd lines.

And I am very fond of the description 'recently iconic'.

Yes agree with both - very good but owes a lot to Armando Iannucci

I think it went too far on with the 'jokes' though- eg the satanist thing... they didn't need to do the whole piece- people could see where it was going IYSWIM. Tbh I think a lot of comedy feels it has to spell it out to the audience a little too much- I find it annoying and patronising.
Yes- AA is very good- and delivers it so perfectly straight- that really works.

Ach- who am I to comment- I must be the only person in the world who loves Milton Jones

I like Milton Jones too, EachPeach!

Actually I didn't hear the whole show, only bits. Will try to listen on computer.

It's the daft puns.... I love them!

Yes, that's what I like about Milton Jones -- that the puns are so weak but he nonetheless builds a whole sketch out of them. I like him, but I hate him too.

Though actually that was a v. good pun.

I am renowned for them sadly
I once wrote a play, that was performed as part of a young playwrights festival- it was wall-to-wall punnery- nothing else!
