Bunting? the Bull? An Eggmobile? Other Ambridge crime-scenes? Potential emoticon?

Have C&P Dad's "vote" count on the POTENTIAL emoticon, don't want to hijack another thread but wondered what the thoughts were?

A Tom Archer Sausage maybe?

When people say "bull" do they mean "a bull" or "The Bull"? I definitely meant "The".

I've got to step away from the screen for a while so encourage others to vote. Here's the latest: (I haven't included any votes on this thread because I'm a bit confused over who's already voted):

List is quite long so might be better to vote for one of the more existing options. If I see phrases such as "I'd like..." or "I'm happy with..." in a post I'll count it. Question marks are assumed to mark suggestions and I'm not counting them.

I like the idea of Plarcher Rob very much! Playmobil is a very MN thing, LTB type men are a very MN thing, & the Plarchers is just fab all round Smile

Also I'm wondering when, why & how a bull (or The Bull) would be used, once the novelty wore off?

Report
bakeoffcake · 30/03/2016 18:17

What will it mean though?

I'm worried a bull would just be used to mean bullshit. Which isn't very nice Grin

Report
LowDudgeon · 30/03/2016 18:19

Exactly, bakeoffcake Grin

We might end up with bull shit punchups

Report
redshoeblueshoe · 30/03/2016 18:20

I imagine people would call BULL then get deleted

Report
DadDadDad · 30/03/2016 18:29

How about this: make it a picture of a pub displayed by [inn]. As was said on other thread it could stand for community spirit / peace and love / keep it friendly, like a collective Wine. That could be used across mn.

On TA thread, we could then use this and write shit after it. We would know it stood for bullshit but it wouldn't have that connotation to non-Archers listeners.

Report
DadDadDad · 30/03/2016 18:30

And I meant that without shit it would have the community meaning.

Report
bakeoffcake · 30/03/2016 18:31

That's a good idea DadDad.

A Bull is too inflammatory although would come in very useful sometimes

When I think of The Bull I think of Kenton who was a complete arse last year. Are we going to celebrate TA and PBs amazing run on threads by choosing an emoticon of a cock? Whether it be vampire knob or the dick that is Kenton? It's like celebrating Dr Who with a Peter Capaldi (sp?) emoticon.

First choice bunting (def not nethunish)
Second choice badger
