I am looking forward to a good week if it goes on as Rob has started.

I don't know why they have to have big stories happening in August when I'm going away!!!

Do we think Helen might need some MN support? What an arse that man is. He freaks me out.

She needs to hang on to her bank account and put the £10k in it! Dowry indeed.... Urgh. Angry

Dowry? What century is Helen living in? Very silly to have shackled herself to this man, given up her job and put the 'dowry' into joint names. Very worried for Henry :(

Haven't heard tonight's, but reading the comments makes me really excited about it.

Great title.

I wonder where we are going with Rob. They seem to be pointing us in the direction of him being Found Out and doing a runner with Helen's dowry. I hope not though; I want Rob to carry on being a cuckoo in the nest for at least the next twenty years.

I can't bear the Helrob thing. I am going to hide behind the sofa 'till it's over.

He will leave Berrow because he can't bear to work for Charlie and its insufferable you know (and he was asked to leave quietly to avoid a scandal)

He will then start getting involve at bridge farm

Report
jennyperru · 10/08/2015 22:47

I agree, he'll start interfering at Bridge Farm and Helen will back him all the way.I just looked Helen up on the BBC site - she's 36 ffs! Yet wittering on about a dowry.

I feel sorry for Pat and Tony, it must be like having a toddler, you have to let them have their independence and explore things but you know you'll end up brushing them down and kissing it better.

ErrolTheDragon · 10/08/2015 22:56

Pat doesn't dare burst Helens happy bubble, but her alarm bells must be ringing. If she's got any sense she'll try to protect H&H's interests in some way when they hand the business to her and Tom, but of course Helen will want to be 'fair' to rob.

Report
BYOSnowman · 10/08/2015 22:57

But they were going on about how capable and independent she is. Er what, are they talking about the same Helen? Weird weird weird

Helen is just so weird at present that, if it wasn't for Henry, I would be quite happy for her to be stuck with rob

Is Henry starting school in September?

My name's spelled wrong on my tabard Hmm

Helen needs an intervention. Emma and Gallon should sit her down and give her grief.

If I were Charlie, I think I'd put Rob onto final warning for being so bloody rude. Honestly, who speaks to their boss like that?!

I've just been catching up on Sunday's, and my hand is itching to give Kenton a good slap. Whinging about not getting a card from David and Ruth, ffs, how selfish of them not to put him ahead of Ruth's mother.

If HP is getting anxious if Ruth isn't on hand, there will be no choice but to bring her down to Brookfield, will there? It simply isn't realistic for Ruth to stay in Prudhoe till she SOTMC.

Talking of disappearing themes, what happened to all that stuff about Brine needing to buy more land otherwise his farm wouldn't be financially viable?

Report
minkGrundy · 11/08/2015 00:48

Tbh Helen's constant simpering would make me a bit snappy. Especially as she did (unknowingly) walk in at a very bad time.

Dowry. Wtaf!? Would have made a better sl if she were repeating something Rob said instead of making upthat utter, utter drivel herself.

But yes he is unbelievably dismissive of Charlie

Tabards are going up in the world of fashion apparently - What's Hot, What's Not in last Saturday's Guardian magazine.

It's almost like they know...

Report
Gruach · 11/08/2015 05:41

Who pays for the tabards? Isn't the village shop a community enterprise? Will they get their money back? Will Susan continue to work at the Bridge Farm shop as well as the dairy? When will they tell her? Will it cause a rift? Where's Hazel?

And is Emma employed by Fallon or - what?

I believe radio programmes are now available for a month, CUP, so that should help.

Lovely title, Pseudo, and those tabards - wow!

However, I'm not one to complain [sniff] but when it comes to the name badge I think the printer has done my 0s as Os.

(I can't sniff as well as Linda Lynda, though. Her sniff last night was very fine. Grin )
