Aha - I was about to start a 'who is Carinthia Hart' thread...

I'm wondering if it might be Lynda... they're making a huge thing about them being in the village for 25 years so if the affair was in 2007 then that would about stack up in terms of her being around. She loves writing the panto doesn't she so perhaps she wrote a novel too?

I thought it was Jennifer, hence the character 'Byron', that Susan called Bryan before hastily correcting herself. But Bryan was rude about the book too, so if it is her she's managed to keep her writing pretty quiet.

I have never heard the name Carinthia before. Apparently, it is a state of Austria, bordering Slovenia. Do you think that Brine had a dalliance with one of the crop-pickers, who discovered that she wasn't the first, and wrote up the Beesborough story in revenge.
Will Caroline be the sequel?
