Loved Brian's response to the news of Alice's marriage: "Well, Jenny, there's nothing for it, we'll just have to regard it as a starter marriage."

Jenny wailing in full pass the smelling salts mode: "I can't believe that I'm related to a Horobin>"

finally a storyline I Love

Jenny revealing she is, in fact, quite a snob, Brian at his very best in the fatherhood stakes, Susan at her most objectionable (evident delight at her boy wedding the daughter of the local landowner..so very feudal) whilst delirious with joy...

it rocks. goodbye Jude, hello Archers classics!

Must listen to the omnibus this week. Sounds like the Archers is hotting up after a dull patch.

It does this thought, gets so dull you are almost giving up and then it jump starts again.

Cheers - I am really looking forward to hearing that now.

"Jennifer, you really are a crashing snob" was a great line.

And why so touchy about AI? Surely her family fortunes depend upon it?

Oh I seeeee. The gorgeous blacksmith. Don't blame her. I'd go for him myself, based on my mind's eye portrait of him.
