Help please. Pushchair not suitable? Time running out.

I was given a 'Jane Powertrack 360' pushchair, it turns out this is not suitable for use with children under 6months. My first baby is due imminently and currently have no suitable pram/pushchair, just a carseat that doesn't attach to Jane chassis. It seems the best option is for me to get a lie-flat car seat that is compatible with the old Powertrack 360 frame, but the ones available, namely the Matrix model seem to get slated on review sites. Any advice much appreciated. Am on v. tight budget and timescale. Thanks.

You can pick up a 2nd hand Matrix for £30 on ebay and then just don't use it as a car seat, keep it for the pram only.

I'd not worry

I didn't buy a pushchair till after the baby was born. You don't get out much for a few days. As long as you have a carseat to get the baby home in, you'll be fine.

Ask on freecycle or see if there are any second hand sales? People are always offloading pushchairs - not £££ ebay stylee, but cheap and serviceable.
