Graco Symbio parasol

Hi,

I have been trying to get hold of a parasol for the Graco Symbio for months but with no joy.

Graco apparently produce one but won't supply direct to individuals, only suppliers; following extensive searching online it seems that no suppliers supply this parasol. I've spoken to a couple of them but they are only prepared to order in bulk but have no plans to order at the moment. One supplier actually told me that Graco have not produced a parasol for about 4 years for the UK market. I haven't been able to find a compatible universal one so I'm completed stumped. I want to be able to shield my baby from the sun (but in such a way that he will actually be able to look around) but I've drawn a complete blank.

Can anyone help?

Hello,

I know you said you haven't found a universal one that fits but I found a Petite Star universal one, and it fits everything I have tried it with. (zapp, zia, kurvi, My Choice (which is quite similar to the Symbio)

I am really happy with it, you can get them pretty cheap and as I say its fitted everything I've tried it on.

Its just a clamp so I don't think there will be a problem attaching to yours.

By an amazing fluke I finally managed to find a UK supplier of the Graco Symbio parasol after months of looking, but if I hadn't managed this I would have checked out the Petite Star universal following your suggestion.

By the way - whats the Symbio like?
I've been on the look for a while now, and being a first time mum-to-be the range on the market is just so mind boggling.

We were told today about the Graco Symbio and i have to say it ticks more boxes than all others that we have seen so far - but no-one seems to talk about it as much as the Quinnys or the bloody bugaboos!

I guess my questions are:
Is it light but secure for the kid?
Does it fit quite well through doorways/isles?
And how is it getting up curbs?
