Parasols are rubbish - what else can I use to keep the sun out of DS's eyes?

I love my iCandy peach, but the iCandy parasol is absolutely useless. Its way too big for a start. It takes forever to get it to stay in the right position then, slightest gust of wind and its blown all over the place. I'm guessing all parasols are just as rubbish.

Is there any other way that I can keep the sun out my DS's eyes?? I'm thinking of some sort of clip on canopy, a bit like the maxi cosi car seat has. Does anyone know of anything that exists?

PS I'm using the carry cot at the mo, because DS is only 3 months. Same problem will arise when I start using the pushchair no doubt.

Ha! I felt exactly the same about the Apple. I don't think it's the iCandy parasol to be fair, parasols themselves are just a rubbish idea. Every time I turned slightly it was in the wrong place. Gave up after a hellish, very sunny week and bought a Shade a Babe. Ugly looking thing but does the job.

Aah, ok, that puts a different slant on things . What about a muslin draped over?

I've got a Shade a Babe you can have if you want it. It's the old sort (no zip) but hardly used - there's not that many sunny days for an August baby in the North East! E mail me if you would like it - janekemail13-re @ yahoo. co. uk (no spaces) (the August baby is 4 now and at school and I still haven't done anything with it! )
