Question re: Phil & Ted's Sport

Hi

We bought the above off a family member when we had our second child. DD is 2 and a half and DS is now 12 weeks. We have been using it with DS in cocoon and DD on the seat slotted on the front.

DS is pretty long and now is too long for the coocoon and looks uncomfortable in it! So I'm confused as what we do now, as I think DS is still too small to go on the front and we put DD in the additional seat behind

Can anyone help/advise?

Do we keep buggy in full recline position and strap DS in and put DD in chair on front?

Thanks!

stop using the cocoon and use sheets/blanket/lambskin instead

yes take him out the cucoon and just put himin the back part without it, that should get u another month maybe?
then you need to put him in the back double seat and your toddler @ the front, because of the weight distribution you're supposed to have the heavier @ the front, or it can tip over?
i felt quite worried about putting my ds2 into the double seat @ 3 months cos hes quite big and didnt fit in the back anymore, but he is fine in there

I have just been through the same thing. Moved DS2 to the doubles seat at 17 weeks. He is pretty big but was more the lack of being able to see anything and being squashed when ds1 was on top that prompted the move - he started crying quite a bit when he was in the cocoon, having previously been quite happy. I would have thought you could squeeze a little more time out of the cocoon though if yours is only 12 weeks? Unless he is complaining I would leave him where he is for a while to keep him lying flat.

I moved him into the back doubles seat, reclined and with a head hugger from the car seat. I also make sure he has a nice padded snowsuit on again to keep him cushioned and cosy. He seems to love it.

Smallest should always go on the back according to P&T instructions.
