buggy board on double buggy

I'm currently looking at double buggies/prams for newborn twins and was considering using a buggy board for DD1 who is 2. However some of the stockists have said that a lot of double buggies don't take buggy boards. Something about the axel being too wide. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm currently looking at buggies along the lines of the Out and About Nipper 360 / Mountain Buggy Urban twin / First Wheels City twin type thing. Something for newborns, not just an umbrella fold buggy.
Thanks in advance

The lovely man in my local indepenedt baby shop told me I could have a buggy board on a double nipper 360 and I no reason not to believe him. Didn't go for it as DD! would not go in buggy for any reason. I imagine it was a lascal buggy board he was talking about.

Have a look at the lascal buggy board fit finder they will tell you what it fits on. Looking at your short list the out & about is the most difficult to fit a buggy board on to but the others will fit just fine!

Thanks I'll have a look at the lascal site and see what I can find out.

You can check whether the lascal buggyboard fits particular buggies by following this link

Thanks everyone, I am swaying towards the out and about nipper 360 (as the only two other people I know who have twins have it) but was put off by the possible lack of buggy board. However it looks like from the links that I can get something from lascal that will fit.

LynetteScavo, the ABC looks great and I am really tempted but am just not sure I can justify the expense - and hassle of getting it. Doesn't stop me drooling over it though!
