hi have just found the above pushchair online but can't find any reviews of it, wondered if anyone here knew anything about it. Heres a link to said pushchair. its not letting me do link but if you type in
HAUCK BABY PRAM CARRIER BUGGY PUSHCHAIR you should be able to find it.
Basically its a pushchair thats reversable and has a soft carrycot with it. It also folds up fairly compactly. Just wanted to know if its worth it or not as have been looking for a parent facing buggy but cant spend much. Is it tooo good to be true to get a nice one for the price that the hauck galaxy is going for?

It looks fine and I like the reversable handle BUT the brake is only on one axel. So if you are using it parent facing you won't be able to access the brake easily.

I don't know that you would be able to get a parent facing pushchair for a similar price new (I saw it for c. £75 on Amazon) but you can get great 2nd hand pushchairs if you have some time before baby is due to look around.

All the more reason to get a parent facing pushchair! The older they are the more they seem to want to see mum.

I have found these on Kiddicare:-
Maxi cosi Mura £130

Hauck Manhattan £200

Maxi cosi Streety in pink £140

thanks, have looked at the mura and streety but don't really like the bucket seat on the mura as when the lie down they are'nt actually led down( as in led flat) and iv heard lots of negative reviews about the streety. The manhatten is a bit too much than i can afford especially as i already have 4 buggies am getting rid of 3 of them though but i want to keep my xt.
might just bite the bullet and go for the galaxy!!

you know what, i think it'd be ok

hauck aren't the "best" puschhairs in the world, but there's certainly nothing wrong with them.
I have a lovely big i'coo pushchair which i love and used loads and loads for ds1 and ds2 (i'coo is made3 by hauck)

i reckon try it and see. it isn't costing much and you could prob sell it on ebay if you really don't like it

Also not only is the brake on the rear axle and therefore difficult to use when parent facing. Only the 'front set' of wheels are swivel, which means when parent facing because it is only the handle you move the swivel wheels will be at the back and the ones at the front will be fixed. This will make it very difficult to steer, especially with an older baby in.

you could always fix the swivel wheels tohugh and just have it not swivelly at all
