Can you order spares for a Urban Detour, bought in 05?

Hello

Was sent over here by carrie I think

Have only ever had one buggy (urban detour) for both children and it was/is fab. Just got it out of storage and it was covered in black mould. Carrie gave some helpful advice and it has come up fab, but the bar that goes across the front is a complete no go. It is really really grim so I would like to order a new one, but I am not sure if it is even possible? or where the hell I start?

any ideas?

Thanks

go to Mothercare and ask or phone if it's not near

I asked about ordering replacement wheels for my '04 model two years ago. It was possible to order them, but expensive (£22 per wheel, I needed all 3 as bearings had gone, and I'd only paid £65 for it at 3months old off eBay).

oh bugger really?

Mothercare is miles away, bearings have gone on mine too, but I know that the cycle shop down the road does repairs on buggies so was going to take it in there

the people who do the spares only carry them for 2 years- which colourway do you have? is it the sahara- brown/khaki canvas or the onys which is black with black circles or was it the sherpa which was beige and had the furry trim on the cosy toes

no chance of getting them unfortunately- that was discontinued over 3 years ago. sorry. if it was the onyx then you might have scraped in, but the sherpa was in when I started there.

There is definiately a seller who sells ud spares on ebay, but I don't think I have seen a bumper bar. have you tried posting a wanted on the for sale board here?

Also I think it was a company called nursery value who made the ud for mothercare. If you google them there website should come up. You could give them a ring. I know they sell reconditioned urban detours so they may have the spares.
