Has anyone brought a pram from Baby Equipment Complete?.

I want to buy a phil and teds dash and they are £35 cheaper than anyone else so I wondered if they were dodgy for any reason?.

Any opinions gratefully received.

Many Thanks

hi there, this place is local to me. its a great place but the aftercare service is rubbish. if something goes wrong with your pushchair they just send it back to the supplier for repair regardless of how long you have had it. in my experience i bought an expensive pushchair off them and the front wheel kept sticking, as it was only a week old i took it back and wanted to swap it for another one but they demanded that it had to be sent back to Britax for them to 'assess'............ six weeks later and still no pushchair and no contact from Baby Equipment Complete despite me phoning everyday. I ended up ringing Britax myself and was told that the pushchair had been written off weeks ago and a refund sent back to Baby Equipment Complete. Needless to say I went to get my money back and they insisted i buy another pushchair!! Was a battle to get my money back. would not buy from them again. your best bet is to go to mothercare or somewhere else that price matches. what about kiddicare? hope this helps

Great this is what I was concerned about, especially as Phil and Teds regularly break. Thanks for this info.

hi, they are also local to me and I have a complete opposite experience. I have found their aftersales fab I had a pushchair that had a loose chassis inside two weeks which they replaced for me there and then, same pushchair broke three weeks outside of warranty I told them I was not happy with the quality of it as had already had issues. They did send it back to manufacturer but said they would push for a refund which they did and I got my money back on a pushchair which was out of warranty which I think is fairly good service.
I also had a nipper double from there (which is made by same people as phil and teds) and I had no problems getting a spare part when needed, I just rang them up and they ordered it and called me when in was in. So I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Thats great Larsazlol, were you left without a pushchair while it was being replaced?.

As we live quite a long way from them I wouldn't want to have to pay a lot in postage to get it repaired I would rather send photos if poss of the problem so I'm not left with 2 childfen and no pushchair!.

Oxford Pram company would let me do this but they are £35 more.

I did not ask for replacement pushchair as used the double for that time but they do have loan pushchairs there.

I have not had a problem with them at all and have been buying baby stuff for 10 years now ( not for the same baby !)
