Has anyone got a Bee 3 Carrycot with Bee 3 Extended Canopy? Does it fit with out bagging?

I don't know where I'm going wrong! I have a 2nd hand Bee3 which came with a non-extendable hood (just branded Bee, not Bee3). I've just bought the extendable hood from John Lewis and it goes all on baggy.

I've watched the assembly instructions on YouTube and done it in exactly the same way but they don't really go into too much detail. At the moment it's baggy and if I try to unzip the zipper to extend it, it doesn't pull forward over the carrycot just sort of bags! I've found pictures on blogs where there are Bee3 reviews with the carrycot/extendable canopy and they don't look like mine!

Anyone else had the same problem!!? I did wonder if the poles and clamps are right as they are for a Bee or Bee+ but the Bugaboo website suggests not and I've emailed them about this a couple of days ago but no reply yet!

Any pointers as to where I might be going wrong much appreciated!
