Anyone use the Uppababy Vista as a tandem? Opinions wanted!

I have the Uppababy Vista and have just loved it. Esp the big basket! No 2 is due in January so I'm starting to look at tandem options. Esp given that no 1 child is tall and has physical problems. He won't walk till age 3, we guess. Does anyone use the vista as a tandem? Honest accounts please! Does the older child cope with the changes? I see basket access is very limited also. 😳

Watching with interest. Our second is due in april when dd will be 2.3. I'm considering a sling for baby and keep dd in pushchair. I lovr our Vista but never considered space for a second when we bought it!

I use the vista as a double though less and less now as dc1 is a good walker. I didn't have a huge choice as dc1 was too big for lots of the seats when I was looking.

I do like it. It's robust and can 'off road' quite well (not serious off roading-more like through grassy bits of the park, sand dunes etc). It steers nicely and is easy to clean

It is heavy with both kids in it and dc2 is only 8 months. Basket space is ok as a double though not great. I use a backpack for the kids stuff so get round the storage issue that way.

Jobrum, we also bought as we liked and it was recommended, not considering it as a double in the future. Will go try out the combinations ourselves once we know all is good at 20 wk scan. But intrigued to hear opinions. Reviews say it's good but heavy...

That's what I read: kerbs can be an issue due to the weight. We have the 2014 model. I just love the basket though! When dd was small I got bags and stuff plus the car seat underneath the pram and the pushchair!

Haven't owned one but regularly push my friends tandem and I don't really like it, it's really big and heavy plus I don't like the baby being at the front. Basket is nice and big but hers has a massive bar through the middle of it!

DC2 due any day and DS is 2. We have, and love, our Vista. When I found out I was pregnant with DC2 I borrowed my friends tandem seat and tried it out. DS kicked up a bit of a stink about sitting in it and he didn't look comfortable. He's only on 9th percentile for height as well.
We've gone for a sling, have bought a second hand buggy board and oyster max twin lite. Hoping to work it out with a combination of the above and the vista! And with resale costs I should get, I probably haven't spent that much in grand scheme
