Stroller advice/recommendations for over 15kg

I've been tasked with finding a suitable stroller for my parents to have at their house. I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant with no 2 so they want something at theirs for my 19 month old so they can take her out independently or we can avoid carting the double around when we all go out together.

The catch is, my DD is pretty big and already weighs 16kg.

Can anyone recommend a stroller or a good comparison website, please?

Thanks!!

Hello,

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the product recommendations are a little out of date. We've spent weeks speaking to parents and testing out pushchairs and buggies. Read our reviews of see which lightweight buggy was crowned best. [Spoiler alert is has a 25kg weight limit].

Hope that helps! Flowers

In the uk they only seem to test to 15kg whereas in other countries they can have the same buggy that says it is suitable to a heavier weight. I wouldn't be too hung up on the weight guidance given

Baby jogger city mini - weight tested to 20kgs in America and has a roomy/tall seat anyway. My mum loves mine because it's so easy to use and quite light to lift into the car. Lies flat. I love mine.

I have found from a different thread that some silver cross strollers go up to 25kg

Fab, thanks for all the replies. I'll start looking at BJCM now.

I have a BJCMGT and would recommend it, but for a cheaper option there is a good price on the silver cross reflex on pram centre at the moment for £180 and that goes up to 25kg.

Yes, cheaper options are certainly welcome! Thanks.

Silver cross pop seems to be even cheaper

I had a Britax B-Agile which is big and comfortable for the child - up to 22 kg. It's still lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Very happy with it. Not too expensive either.
