doubling up an icandy

we are expecting a ds in November. dd will be 19 months when he's born, so I'm wondering whether I buy a double pushchair, double up my current one or carry ds and keep dd in the pushchair.

anyway, just after opinions as to what you've done if you've had 2 dc close together. also, the costing of doubling up a pushchair that is designed to be done so

I bought the Peach exactly for that reason and would also ask how people have doubled up theirs - which bits did they use and how much did it cost?

I've just looked at John Lewis website and the pip converter kit with seat is £110. I'd have to buy a newborn nest too as the carry cot doesn't fit the pushchair in double mode Angry

Haven't done it myself but it might be worth seeing how you get on with a combination of new baby in a sling and older baby in the pushchair and then older baby on a buggy board/baby in pushchair until your older dc is waking more independently. See how it goes and then if it doesn't work for you spend the money to convert to double or just buy a secondhand double. Depends how much you use the pushchair really.

Thanks guys - K8eee I looked on the website and the Pip Converter thing is for the Apple 2 Pear whereas I have the Peach, which one do you have? I know mine is cheaper to turn into a double than to buy a new double outright

I have the apple 2 pear. the converter kit is £110, but I'd need a newborn nest. also, the girl in john lewis was unsure if I could use a be safe car seat with the stroller seat
