Baby Jogger City Mini Zip vs Recaro Easylife

I am looking for a lightweight, easy folding pram for my 13 month old DD. I currently have the Bugaboo Chameleon but its just too big and bulky for everyday use now plus we are going on holiday soon so would like something more compact.

Having looked at options, we considered going for something cheap and cheerful (like the Zeta Vooom) but have decided we want something a bit better.

Have narrowed it down to my two favs the Baby Jogger City Mini Zip (although havnt ruled out the standard BJCM) or the Recaro Easylife.

Happy to also consider other recommendations but does anyone have any opinion on either of these two and which they would consider better?

Ooo I was going to ask this exact thing along with a third option, the Graco Evo!
I love the look of the recaro and it folds super smal!

I loooove my zip, don't know about the recaro. What sort of things do you want to know about it? If it's for a holiday buggy one good thing about it is it fits inside the IKEA trunk bag (£2.50) to protect it in the hold.

The Graco Evo looks good but I think I prefer the Zip and the Easylife.

I have heard a few things about the harness not being great on the zip, so thats a slight concern.

Also the recline is quite important, I want it to be comfortable to sleep in but upright enough for her to be able to look around? Easy of folding away is also a priority, the easier the better really!

I don't know about the easy life, but I tested a zip and babyzen yoyo and went for the yoyo although I really liked the zip too. I didn't like the hood fabric or the hard plastic wheels. The fold is great though, the seat seemed v comfy and the basket is decent although a little hard to get in to.

We have no problems with the harness - apparently the U.S. Version was much worse. The upright is a lot more upright than my baby jogger versa and my son likes that, I think you could buy the sit up strap from eBay if you wanted it bolt upright but I think it's good enough ( the best buggy review concurs). I got it for £235 including rain over from just kids things.

The basket isn't that easy to get into but I can fit my rucksack (changing bag) in if I approach from the front! The fold is super easy but about 50% more faff than a normal city mini.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a winner. (and thanks for the best price link!)

I wonder if anyone has any views on the Recaro Easylife?
