iCandy Peach Carrycot

Is it suitable to put on a Moses basket stand?
We are converting our peach 2 to a peach 3 blossom so won't be using our existing peach 2 carrycot. I thought I could maybe use it for day time naps downstairs but wouldn't want to put it on floor due to DS1/toys etc.
does anyone know if it can go on a generic stand or should I not bother spending more money? TIA

Yep, we used ours on a stand.

We didn't bother with a Moses basket first time round so can you but just a generic stand?

Hi SweetPeaPods, I wanted to do this with my peach carrycot so asked my local baby shop, they said that icandy don't allow this as it's not safety tested so recommended I don't buy the stand.

Icandy would always say that, they don't sell a corresponding product, thus would not have safety tested it. You can definitely buy a generic stand designed for use with a generic Moses basket, without trying it out I suppose you can't really judge how safe it appears.

I would do it but then again I would do many many things that Icandy don't recommend Grin

Sorry, I meant that we used an icandy peach carrycot on a standard Moses basket stand. It was just as safe and stable as any normal
Moses basket on a stand!

Think I'll give it a try see how stable it looks. Much more sense than also buying a Moses basket.

Are you buying the blossom carrycot? I would sell the main one to fund the blossom one then use that instead.

We have already bought blossom carrycot. I will prob leave that in car so use the standard carrycot from ds. That's if I can find a suitable stand.

No, iCandy carrycots IRC should only be placed on a firm surface - definitely not a carrycot stand. The floor or the Peach chassis is probably the best place.

How in the world is a carrycot any less stable than a Moses basket!?! That's just icandy covering their backs by saying it's 'not been tested'!
