Mamas and papas consultation

We've booked a consultation with mamas and papas in hull, after I went into the Lincoln branch, and the staff there seemed friendly and helpful. They also insisted the consultations are no obligation, just information.
Hull branch is a bit bigger, so we thought there may be more products to look at. Has anyone had one of these consultations and did they find them useful, or are we walking into a situation where we will feel pressured into buying a product?

Thank you ladies :)

M&P is notoriously awful at after-sales customer service. I would not buy a pram from there. Sorry.

Thank you, think we are just going to have a look at the different ones, then buy somewhere else...

I have yet to hear anything good about a M&P pram I'm afraid, what sort of thing are you after? There are lots of people on here who can help.

Cancel the appointment and go to Pramland in Hull instead! They have M&P so can show you their products, along with one of the best selections of pushchairs around. Head also to Lullaby's Baby Den in Scunthorpe as well. Lovely people in both shops.

Thank you, we went to the baby show at Olympia Centre over weekend, the stands were great, and got lots of info- we really liked the Kiddy products, and the rep said Pramland sell their stuff, and would guarantee the show price if we go there, which I thought was good. Think we will cancel the consultation, don't think they will be able to tell us anymore than all the people we saw Saturday. If anyone has any advice on the prams etc they have found good, please let me know, there's so much choice! :)
