Pushchairs

Right, BJCM or BJCM GT?

I'm a Bugaboo girl through and through, except for 2 weeks ago I bought and fell madly in love with a BJCM. So much in love was I that I ordered the GT and it arrived today. I don't like it :( I'm a 5' 2 shortarse and it feels massive, far bigger than the cm.

But everyone thinks I'm bonkers and that the GT is the best thing since sliced bread blah blah. So what am I missing, do you love yours?

It's a really good pushchair but I too am not feeling the love.

The quality is great, I like almost everything about it, no real flaws etc. I can see how if you loved it you would LOVE it. I just don't. Can't really explain it

I think the BJCMGT is probably the best all round stroller type pushchair there is. However I can see why you dont love it. Its functional rather than pretty. But the functionality is what makes it good - the easy fold, huge seat, big hood, good storage, flat fold, forever air tyres.
I am surprised that the GT feels bigger than the CM though. There can't be much in the two height wise?

I love mine, but I am tall and have a huge toddler - I bought it because I wanted something big!

Easy folding is brilliant, it goes over lots of surfaces including inches of snow, big hood so you rarely need a raincover. Adjustable handle is good too. Good value compared to a lot of other similar pushchairs (we paid about £250 including delivery).

But no, not pretty. Very practical though!

Update: 5 days on and I absolutely love it, walk miles with it Just Because and am surgically attached to it (today it went in the 'boot' of a hovercraft and I wanted to go with it to make sure it was ok Blush)

I am glad you updated this. It can take some time to really get to grips with a pushchair. I am still trying to get to grips with my Bee - but its still here a year hence lol

LOL re you being surgically attached to your BJCMGT and walking 'just because'! :)

I love Mary BJCMGT. It's my 'second' pushchair, bought mainly for dog walking on rough terrain (which it does fabulously). It's not as pretty as my other pushchair (iCandy Strawberry) and I didn't love it instantly but it had won me over. It's going on holiday with us this week and I'm already fearing for its safety in the hands of airline baggage handlers.

What's causing you grief? I know you said it was all good but... What one thing would you change?

I would make it 25% smaller Grin and have 4 wheels.

Nothing is causing me grief really though, that's just it, it does everything it needs to very very well. I should love it
