Pros
Car seat fits onto buggy and has base for car, biggest annoyance of bee is not taking seat and another thirty for occasional use of adapters seems a waste
Hundred quid plus in my pocket
Big basket
less worried about being nicked when left outside
Can put baby to sleep in around house without waking with belts
It's mainly a second buggy as use a phil teds for long walks but this doesn't fit in car
Cons
Not as pretty but quite nice red
guessing not a one hander, but not too bothered
The big one, is it ok with buggy board?
Not rear facing but all dd does is sleep in it and sure soon will want to watch world. She's spoken to and pampered all day anyway

Ooh I might have spat my coffee out a little bit in alarm when I read this..

Lots of things spring to mind all at once, firstly though the buggyboard apparently fits but I doubt it will be much fun.

Unless there is a massive financial incentive and you will be loads better of imo you will regret it! It depends how much you use your car buggy etc etc.

On the face of it yep, mad.. but you know your useage best and how much you would REALLY care about using a mirage after using a bee, I'm sure you know how poles apart it will be to push etc.

If your p and t doesn't fit in your boot i'm guessing you're looking at a limited range of things based on size, which dimension is most restrictive with your boot, length or width?

Boot height. What I mean is phil teds doesn't food at all, well only with huge fight. Love it but second hand and it's past it's best. Money nice but we'll live. Fed up of Dr crying every time she is laid asleep in bee when you do belts, plus would like sometimes to pop in a shop with car seat

Boot is like a letter box in shape, shallow and long.

IMO - mad yes!

We bought a P&T when we found out I was pregnant with DD2. Then sold Bee as it was getting to heavy to lift in and out of the car with ever growing bump.

Got Maclaren replacement for the car - just not the same. More difficult to manoeuvre, not great over bumps, practically no suspension, and child can't really lie flat. The buggy board goes on the Maclaren, but DD1 isn't tall enough to look over the top, so isn't much fun.

Tbh, wish we had kept the Bee! Then we could sell the P&T now DD1 doesn't need to nap/sit in the buggy now.

Yes, I know a friend who used the p&t carrycot in her Bee

Also, if your DC is small enough, you wouldn't have a problem with them rolling over in the P&T cocoon and the Bee. It should be quite a snug fit (and the cocoon isn't strapped in on the P&T either).

Madness! My friend had a Mirage, horrid and rattley thing it was. Ugh.
