my youngest is getting older, nearly two and I am thinking of selling my double and single for something else...

light/compact/easy for travel is what I am looking for, yet still able to recline, if only a little bit.

yoyo seems appealing, but I am not sure I could use it as my only one. Mountain Buggy Mini? Scoot? what else is out there new and better for an older child?

Forget the Mountain Buggy Mini - its got one of the most shallow seats I have seen and it vibrates like you wouldn't believe when you push it.

The Scoot meanwhile is absolutely lovely and it would be my choice unless you want something even lighter in which case, splash out on the Babyzen YoYo.

For a two year old it all depends on budget and how small you class as small? As the smaller lighter items might have a smaller seat meaning not ideal for a 2 year old.

BJ City Mini is a good option, but it might not be what you class as small, and something more like the YoYo by Babyzen is more what you are looking for? Theres also the Petite Star Zia or the Joie Aire which are small and light too.

But then there is also the umbrella folding strollers that you might also want to consider?

TBH I read a lot of good reports on it, and I've seen plenty in use, my personal view is that the seat unit might be a bit small for an older child, but that all depends on opinion and the size of your child. Might be worth taking him into somewhere like BrU or Mothercare, try them in it, and if its ok then look for one online or even used ;)

I agree that the Petite Zia seat will be on the small side for an older child. Its not one I would choose.
