That's it really - their website doesn't seem to give much away. I've heard it's this month, but would love a definitive answer! Thanks.

Its already out but only in certain shops in France. I am currently trying to find out when its arriving in other countries.

BabyZen informed me the Yoyo wouldn't be in the uk until at least the end of September but that it had official retailers in France that were authorised to sell pre-orders. There was a first batch released on the 10th July and the next batch has arrived to go out for delivery on Monday. This, I was told, was the only stock until it is officially released in September. I ordered one from littledesign.com and they have been great keeping in touch with me and my Yoyo should arrive next week. Unfortunately I had to order from abroad as late September (if then) would be too late for my holiday. There were 3 other online retailers BabyZen sent me if I can find the email but littledesign have been great :)

What is the expected RRP?

£285 I think it works out at or something ridiculous like that :( but it has been the only pushchair I have ever wanted a 'play' with that my husband has encouraged me to purchase as he thinks having the ability to pop restrain my youngest in after a 9 hour flight while we trail our 3 year old and handluggage/bags through the airport will be priceless... So here's hoping! :)

That's very helpful - thank you v much. We live in Dubai but are back in glorious England next fri and I was hoping to buy/order it there and use and bring back here but I'm nervous it may not arrive in time and we'd be stuck without anything! Interestingly the one shop here that has a display model said they would arrive last week.... Methinks they have things a little wrong there!

So, fonts of all knowledge here, what would you recommend as the alternative? I'm thinking the quinny yez extra or baby jogger city mini or metro. Opinions very welcome! Key features need to be lightweight, very easy foldupability and some sort of recline.

Thanks again!

If there is a shop in Dubai where they have a display model then the information I was given may have been wrong and the store may have actually been receiving stock last week. The retailer I purchased from was getting them delivered thursday 19th/friday 20th so I would perhaps go back to speak to them again and double check - definitely worth a look! :)

I bought online from France www.little-design.com - BabyZen had suggested them as an internet supplier that ship internationally along with 2 other companies. I emailed Little Design (in very bad french) and they replied within 20 minutes in english and have been great and have kept me updated. I emailed another french company (cannot remember which one) and ebaby but neither returned my emails :( . There was another french online retailer BabyZen recommended but when I searched google a few people had said there had been a problem with payment for the YOYO online so I thought best not (I was using google translate and only got the jist of the thread).
I was relieved that Little Design only asked for a small deposit to secure my pre-order and when it is confirmed in this week and ready for delivery they will email to let me know and I have to go onto the site and pay the remainder and delivery. Which means if it is delayed and won't be available before my holiday then I do not have to go ahead with the purchase.
I hope your retailer replies soon Tiggywunkle and it will be with you shortly :)
If my Yoyo doesn't appear I think I will have to ask my aunt to do a little rec trip while in Dubai to track the store Wombat has mentioned to see if I can get one any sooner, haha :)

Did you manage to contact the store again Wombat ?

Thanks again ladies for the brilliant help - I have just ordered via Little Design who, as liswee said, were fantastic. I have paid all up front and they have said that it arrives in their store on 25th July and will be shipped the same day and arrive 3-5 days later in the UK - we shall see! We have a borrowed Maclaren as a back-up plan!

In very Dubai-style, they said they were expecting it some weeks ago but that it would definitely be in this week.... I'm a bit cynical these days with Dubai store promises, so feel much happier that I've given all my money to a company in France I knew nothing about til yesterday instead on the excellent advice of mumsnet pushchair gurus! Confused Shock Grin

Tiggywunkle - DS is just coming up 8 months. Daisybell (I think she's still daisybell on here) said that you would come up trumps Smile so thank you for your help and to liswee too.

I'm really rather excited! Smile

he he - I'd be feeling exactly the same liswee! Don't worry - it's all on my own head if it does go pear-shaped.

What are you planning to do about a rain cover by the way? I am hoping that for the few times we might need it, our bugaboo cameleon cover might just do the trick even though it won't fit properly.....

Sorry my ds wanted to play on the iPad and hit the return button .
So...
Little design told me it comes with it.
It looks flimsy at best but suppose it will do the job in light showers. If you have a look on you tube there is a French reviewer who has a few videos of it and I think there was on instructions or accessories and it shows it on that ( the reviews in French if you are any good with the language but I just watched the pictures Blush and picked out the odd word here and there in my defence I did German and Spanish at school/uni but missed out on French I will try find the link but not quite sure how to put it on here :)

Ah - that's great to know. I think I only looked at the info on bestbuggy.co.uk which I think said it didn't (or it may have been a friend who said it didn;t) - flimsy is fine for me- I figure if I'm in a massive downpour, I would wait somewhere undercover as I don't fancy getting soaked, letalone DS! I did French A Level so have no excuses!

Wow, that pushchair looks amazing!
I've been looking for a holiday stroller and was going to go for the baby jogger city mini but I really like the size that the babyzen folds up to.

I look forward to hearing what you think of it when you receive your new pushchairs!

Latest I had heard about UK release was September (from BabyZen) but my local pram shop phoned Recaro (the UK distributors for BabyZen) again and although they have heard of the YoYo (probably a million calls!) they are still not even sure at this time if Recaro are distributing it Hmm. This doesn't sound promising for something due in the country quite soon but maybe they didn't want to give anything away or maybe she was unlucky and has spoken to people who aren't in the know! :)

Just wanted to let you all know that our yoyo arrived from France within the promised timeframe and we LOVE it! So easy to put up and down and love the shoulder strap. Felt v smug looking at others with less easy models struggling on and off the ferries in cornwAll last week!! Thanks again for your help with this ladies!

Glad you received it and it's been great! I got back the other week to a card through my door saying it had tried to be delivered but I wasn't in! I was so sad, then a second later my neighbour came over with the (a lot larger than i imagined) box! Whoopee! I have had a lot of fun playing with it and perfecting the folding/unfolding action and adding a dual bag strap to it to enable it to be worn like a backpack! How was it on the plane? :)

How are you finding the pushchairs now you've had a little longer to play with them?
Does anyone have one on order for a UK supplier yet? It's a really nifty looking pushchair that I imagine will be very popular.

I can't help with the UK supplier bit yet pinkpiglet but happy to let you know my thoughts. It really does fold down very easily with one hand only although sometimes we don't quite seem to have got the knack of it and we have to give it a second go - I think that is us and not the buggy though and opening it up is like a real dream - it really is like one of those pop-up tents. The only thing I would prefer is a slightly more upright position - DS (nearly 9 months) looks a bit too laid back - almost a bit slumped - when in fully upright position. The shopping basket is v small but this is the compromise for something so light and fold-upabble. Hope this helps!

I agree totally. I have mine now and the small gold is the reason for having it. It's teeny tiny folded. Absolutely superb to slung over your shoulder or squeeze into a gap in the car. I love the party trick of simply flicking it open in the air. Folding is a knack but I think you have to release both buttons, let go of them and grab a different handle. But you feel the need to hold the fold button instead! I will get better at it. I can get my largeish handbag underneath with room at the front for drinks, keys, camera etc plus there's a tiny mesh pocket for keys or purse. The seat position isn't the best even pulled as tight as you can, but the YoYo really does what it says in the tin and if you need a small fold TBH you won't care a sausage about seating position because I doubt this would a) be a main pushchair or b) one you would use for an all say outing unless you were on holiday. It's not bad enough to make me not use it! I live the recline and pretty decent hood. It pushes great - not the best push ever but good. Again I am fussy so can say that! I love that the handle is high! It's a refreshing change from other small folding pushchairs like the Noa or Zapo which are small. It's also really really sturdy. It feels solid - it's not flimsy or wobbly! It feels better than my Bee. Plus DH tried to tip it with a child in (don't ask) and he couldn't. I am delighted with it so far but it's early days still...
Oh and I don't like the jigsaw piece buckle but the harness itself doesn't slip like its bigger sibling the Recaro Babyzen. So that's good!
As for the raincover .....hmmm....whoever designed it needs sacking! It's basically a plastic non bendy rod with polythene on..but it's something like 40-50cms long. Where the heck are you meant to put it when not in use??!!! It needs a fold up tiny raincover...come to think of it, where are my Micralite ones? I need to see if one would fit!
