You wouldn't think it would be so hard would you?!? We are after a pushchair that folds down compactly WITH WHEELS ATTACHED!!! It needs to be less than 99cm when folded and not cost a fortune!! We have just received the p&t smart buggy and I think it will be going back as it is bigger than the pushchair we have now.(silvercross) it's so frustrating nearly all the umbrella folds are too long when collapsed! Any ideas mners?

Does it have to be umbrella fold? If not, google on...

Baby jogger city mini or micro.
Quinny Zapp.

Is it a specific sort of pushchair you are looking for? Most 'proper' pushchairs are well under 99cms long including Bugaboos, the Baby Jogger City Select, the Recaro Babyzen and probably 101 other more substantial pushchairs and fold with wheels attached. But most umbrella fold strollers are long - too long for my large boot.
If it's a compact fold you want then look at the above - definitely the City Mini, but also look at the new Maxi Cosi Noa. It doesn't look much but it performs brilliantly. Also the Babyhome Emotion Xtreet, the Leebruss Takeoff and the Petit Zia.

And the Silver Cross Halo or Britax B-Mobile are both compact folding. There are loads of them. Do you want it to be light as well? And do you have a budget?

I'm not bothered how it folds as long as it folds smaller than 99cm, my husband and I are quite tall so didn't want a compact pushchair that had a low handle height! We ideally didn't want to spend over 150 approx as it is only going to be used for hols and trips into the city which don't happen very often Wink I am not a massive fan of the three wheelers but will have a look at the recommendations you have all made! Smile thank you...please feel free to recommend more Grin we are fuss pots with things!! I wanted the baby jogger city select but hubby said no....when he sees this damn smart buggy I reckon he will be peeved he didn't agree to spending more GrinGrin

I'm 5'8" and DH is 6'3". We got a BJ City Mini last week and love it, handle height is fine. Folds small but not tiny.

I have been looking at the buggies in the Boots catalogue. Most of the 3 wheelers fold in half widthways, so are smaller than 99cm when folded, but more "square". Most of the umbrella fold 4 wheelers fold lengthways, and are taller - often more than 99 cm - but more "rectangular" when folded.

BJCM all the way. And there's a new 4 wheel version. DH is 6ft6 and copes fine. It virtually flatpacks with 1 hand and if you dud need to take the wheels off they just pop and click back on.

The new 4 wheel Baby Jogger City Mini looks very like the City Select at the front :)

You won't regret it :) I have a houseful of pushchairs and the BJCM is one of the best - it's gets used every day. What colour though? ;)

Ooh decisions decisions....first I have to persuade the hubby....it may take a while as he's up to his neck in DIY and tends to be a grump whilst on a "project" Wink
