Are britax b smart and vigour buggies compatable?

Hi was just wondering if anyone knows whether the accessories for the britax b-smart buggy [eg. carrycot] are usable with the older style Britax vigour and vice versa.
just wondering whether I can use a vigour carrycot on the new frame. can't seem to see any information on this anywhere?

not sure..i have the old old vigour and car seat adapters think they are called p and y ? i also have vigour + and smart seat unit these will fit on the old vigour frame if i use the adapters. dont know if that helps?

Thanks but still unsure! Just to make it clearer Britax vigour I have is vigour 4+ (2009 model). Have been given this and unused vigour carrycot. Was wondering about getting new frame as buggy has a lot of wear but don't want to end up with a arry cot that doesn't fit it. Also wasn't sure whether I could still get a car seat that would fit old frame.
Seems to be so many models/versions/adapters but they all look so simular!!

Almost think it would be easier to forget everything and start again!

can i just say.....the vigour frame,is far superior to the b-smart.
maybe try ebay,for a newer vigour frame instead.

i have an old vigour frame and adapters -have recently sent the car seat to the charity shop!! also have bucket seat too- i am selling them see pushchair board. i never had a carrycot though??

I don't think they're compatible.

I have a Vigour 3+ and my SIL has a B-Smart and I remember taking my neice out in the B-Smart and carrycot and noticing how different the fixtures/brackets were.

Paul Stride seem to know everything there is to know about Britax pushchairs, so it might be worth giving them a ring - they're always happy to advise.

Sorry to add to a really old thread but I was just wondering if you had any more information. I had the britax vigour 4 for my 1st little boy and am now expecting again and was hoping to replace the chassis for something a bit more streamlined, does anyone know of any britax or other model that would be comparable with the vigour carry cot and seat? Thanks!!
