Pushchairs

I've always dismissed the Micralite Fastfold as a crap design, flimsy and crap to push

But I will eat my words! Recently started using one at a new nannying job....its bloody fantastic!! Seriously! It was a bloody dream to push one handed with 2 scooters and shopping on and a 3yo in

Micralite....I apologise! MN.....I recommend it!

Ooh good - mine is winging it's way back to me for precisely the reason you say, as much as I think the Mac Techno is ace and love my urban detour they're not as good for the whole family's worth of stuff, holding three hands and pushing the pushchair.

Just wish they would make the whole handlebar bit move higher, as just pointing the handles up doesn't help

Cod you can get theHandle Adjuster which is pretty good for the height issue :)

I love mine too - the only pushchair you can manage to steer whilst holding a heavy shopping basket Grin

Tho' I wish it reclined better - I know there is the Toro but it doesn't fold as small and is £££ more than I can justify.

Am loving mine too! I have some questions though...

I have the older fast fold version not the superlite. Can i use the Superlite accessories for the fastfold? Like a new hood and the adjustable handlebars?

I also have the carrycot for the next dc but would like a new mattress. Can i buy a moses basket one or do micralite do a replacement?

It is just a dream to push one handed and pull behind me when walking the hound.

oh largeginandtonbic im desperate for a carrycot atm Envy

micralite do replacement mattresses im sure? Im trying to think back to my fastfold on the hood, as i've had both the fastfold and currently got the superlite. I would think they possibly do fit? Is there any that stock locally so you can try?

I would def think the handlebars fit tho as the handle bar is exactly the same.

i've just totally drove myself nuts looking for a mattress for a carrycot. After weeks of searching won one on ebay but wanted new mattress. To no avail as im 39+6 could wait no longer and had to order a brand new carrycot now grrr. Not my preferred coloured as its red, but at least its new, and ordered a raincover too and will be here monday.

What colour have you got?

I have red too Nic. Don't mind the colour but REALLY want a new mattress. Have been offline for a few days so not emailed micralite yet. Must do that.

Crikey! Not long for you now. I am very jealous. I am 21 weeks so blardy ages for me. Do you know what you are having?

I have just ordered the maxi cosi adaptors too. What else do i need? I don't have the little bag that the seat hammock sit's in either. That is going to be necessary isn't it. Will ask micralite about that too.

largeginandtonic - you don't need to buy a bag for the seat when you use the carrycot. I emailed Micralite and they sent me some instructions on how to remove the seat temp. while the carrycot is in use. Can't find them now but they should be able to help! HTH :)
