hiya just found ds 1's jive buggy in the shed I bought the set for about 15 quid thinking it was a bargain but then stashed it in the shed and dh put a load of crap around it so I only actully used it a couple of times

Anywhoo what age can ds2 use it from ? He's 13 weeks with v strong head control and i can see he gets annoyed not seeing out in the bugaboo carrycot just now but what age is it actully safe to use it from?

Why would you want to use that piece of shit when you have a bugaboo? Just wait until he can sit up and put him in the cam seat.

they are from 6 months, i dont think the seat would be supportive enough at 13 weeks and the straps i think would not be good enough. They are a very good light weight buggy that are so handy for on the buses. I would say the earliest would be 5 months but that really does depend on your baby, i would rather put him in the cam seat if he really was not happy

My DD went in her Frog seat at 8 weeks as she screamed everytime she went in the carrycot...She hated not being able to see anything, same thing happened with her Silver Cross pram...DD had excellent head control from birth so felt she was fine in the seat part...And then sat alone at 17 weeks old...Maclaren buggies are ok from 3 months and i think the bucket seats look more comfortable if not too upright...DD rarely slept in hers and was only in for short periods of time...Years in the 80's virtually all babies were in bucket seat pushchairs.
