Lightweight buggy to go with BJCE?

I've got a Babyjogger City Elite for my little boy, of nearly 16 months. It's great - I love the big hood, lie flat, leg rest, how solid it is and how good it is to push over bumpy ground, even with one hand.
I'd like to get a Maclaren for the bits the BJCE is not good at - light weight, small wheel base / footprint, easy to travel with, sit properly upright etc, but that he can still be comfortable and sleep well in.
I just don't know which one to get. I like the Quest for being simple and light with a shoulder carry strap, but I wonder if I'd find it a bit basic and rickety after the BJCE and regret not getting the Techno XT as it lies flatter, has a better hood, bigger wheels and suspension...but then is the XT getting a bit bulky and heavy for a lightweight buggy?

Thank you for any advice, experience or other suggestions you can offer!

(I had discounted these for the following reasons:
BJCM - wide wheel base; soft and less upright seat; folds with the seat fabric outwards
Micralite Superlite - wide wheel base again; no leg rest; not a good recline or hood for sleeping)

A maclaren triumph, I prefer the strap recline on it compared to the quest recline.
