can you push maclaren quest or techno xt with one hand?

Have recently borrowed a friend's umbrella-fold buggy which has been really useful apart from the fact that you need both hands to push it. My icandy cherry is brilliant as it turns on a sixpence with only one hand needed to push it, but is a bit bulky for my small car. Any ideas for other umbrella-fold huggies much appreciated!

Not really.... at least I've never managed to stop it veering off to the side! The day Maclaren make their buggies with one handle will be the day they are perfect :)

I used to have a quest, ds was a big child and there is no way I could have pushed him singlehandedly, plus as GML says it would veer off.

I can push my xt with one hand - not easy, but possible for a short period of time.

Graco citisport or the old mothercare version are one handled and fold small.

I can push my xt with one hand, whilst using the other to hold my toddler's hand. Sometimes I even carry him on my hip whilst pushing the buggy. It's not the most fun though - and I need two hands for kerbs or going down steep hills.

Yes can push xt with one hand as it has suspension but my ds is 16 months and a big tall lad, it is getting difficult, a quest no way!! However, I do have a quest for sale as just have too many buggies Grin same name on ebay if you want a pic and I can post in bubble wrap if you fancy Smile

Ditti SaltNSauce...I've got 2 Citisports as they're so fantastic...Push and fold one handed with no trouble at all.

quest much easier to maneouvre one handed than xt as xt bigger and heavier.

micralite superlite is what you are after tho...push is awesome easy peasy one handed and light and compact fold the air tyres are great.

I second what nicola said - the micralite superlite is uber-manouverable one handed - even with a 6y old in it!!!
