OK, so we have problems...
We have a Quinny Zapp which we bought when DS was 1 (he's now 2.5).
My thinking had been that when the new baby comes (in July) we would get the Xtra seat for the Zapp, and that would be that, sorted: mega use out of our current Zapp, money saving etc.
However, DH managed to break the chassis on our existing Zapp. (Quite an achievement, I know. It's the bit between the handles.) I've contacted them to see if this can be fixed, which is the best case scenario, but they may not be able to.
So, a question - anybody know whether the folding Quinny Zapp standard seat fits onto the Zapp Xtra chassis?
It slides onto the standard chassis down a channel, but from what I gather, the Xtra seat fits in a different way onto the chassis, and so doesn't fold down with the chassis (you take it off and store separately). I thought it would be useful to have the folding seat n all option once baby2 is older - speed etc, having the seat anyway...
Thanks!
