hi would love some advice on which to go for is the summit worth the extra?

we have a 3 month old and 3 dogs, live in a village and need something that is up to daily walks through fields.

have a micralite toro which is not really handling the rough stuff but is good in town.

thanks

Hmm, there's quite a difference between the two? The Nipper is very very light and a lot smaller than the summit. I have had Nipper fixed wheels but was never keen on the 360 - but I do love baby joggers!! Even the elite is much bigger and more luxurious than the Nipper - but for a 3 month old, I personally would prefer baby jogger - great for older children too.

Sure someone else will be along with completely different opinions Grin but it seems you want it to be more off road than for town anyway?

The nipper is great but I find it doesn't sit upright enough for ds who is 1.

I haven't tried a baby jogger but heard good reports.

I have the Nipper and 2 dogs! DS is 21 months and I don't think he'll fit in it much longer than another 6-9 months (to be fair he is bigger than average) It was great when he was little but now I find it struggles a bit with the weight or maybe that's just me not strong enough to push him!
I would also second the not sitting upright enough. Luckily we only need to use it for dog walks as he walks in town and everywhere else.

I've had both. Baby jogger summit is a lot more luxurious and will last longer in terms of seat size than the nipper. Also fabric and build of babyjogger summit is superior. In short, I'd choose the baby jogger summit. Yes it's worth every penny. I know it's not the cheapest but i do think it's better value for money. By a long way!

Summit arrived today and first impressions are good, coped well with the mud and easier to push.
