Anyone got a Strolli Rider ? Have some questions for you!

Hello everyone!

Right, the journey to and from nursery with DD and DS - aged 3 - is becoming a NIGHTMARE. The buggy board no longer has any attraction for him as he is so tired he just wants to sit down.(it is a bit of a trek)

As getting any kind of a double is out of the question (price, storage etc), I wondered if a Strolli rider would be a good solution ? I've had a bit of a google and seem to only read good things about them. I'll be attaching it to a bugaboo bee or a silver cross pop, has anyone used it with one of these pushchairs?

Is it quite light ? Easy to attach/detach? Any problems with safety ?
Basically, all opinions welcome ! I thought it would be best to come on here and gather some expert advice before my paypal account gets a large dent in it! Grin

I have a strolli rider but haven't used it on either of those two pushchairs I'm afraid.

I use mine for my 3yr old on my twins' double mountain buggy and it's FAB! It's so much better to use than the buggy board I had on there previously.

He's very happy to ride on it and I like it too as it's very easy to attach and detach. I have an older model with a flat seat but the newer models have bucket seats and a lap belt too.

I get stopped all the time by people asking about it, I've even had other peoples' children coming up and asking me for a turn on it!!

I've had 2 strollis, one for ds1 and again for ds2. I've used one on a maclaren, which is v similar to SC pop, and it was ok, no problems with it. Not sure if you'd get attachments for Bee.

The only safety issue really is going up and down big bumps, strolli is a bit unstable if you do it too fast, brought on more if you have a wobbly toddler.

Balamorybaby and 5andahead thank you !!

See, if I'm honest I'm only looking for a leetle bit of justification for buying it and now your positive comments have provided it!

Thanks for your opinions, I'm convinced now - the only thing now is to see whether DS is....! Grin
