Pushchair help...

Im currently 27 weeks pregnant but DS2 likely to make an appearance a bit early so really need to get a pushchair sorted but am a bit stuck and could do with some help.

I have actually already got a M&P pramette which I got as a complete bargain and is fantastic condition off e-bay but Im not sure if its actually the right thing for me anymore.

Basically the problem is that Ive got a 5.5 year old who I can see is going to want to be talking to baby the whole time (he's soooo excited bless him!) and I can already imagine that he will spend most of the time running in front of the pushchair which is just going to be crazy!

DH actually gets what I mean and for once has agreed that perhaps we do need a different pushchair but whatever one we get it needs to be the right one...I had about 13 with DS1 so Im not allowed to do that again lol!

Ideally Id like a forward/rearward facing one that I can fold as one rather than taking seat unit off but unless Im being really thick I can't seem to find any.

It also needs to have a carrycot bit or be able to convert seat unit into carrycot...I realise I'll have to take that off to fold it though!

I don't need a car seat as we already have one from DS1 and I don't need it to go on puschair frame.

I don't really want to pay much more than £400 so any suggestions...

The only ones Ive got on my list so far are:

Cosatto Cabi

Mothercare Spin

These seem to tick all boxes apart from folding as one and they come with footmuff etc which is fantastic.

The M&P Sola and Urbo are both good prams. They fold with the seat in the forward facing position so just a case of switching it round when folding which takes seconds.

My friend has the Spin though and she loves it and the footmuff does look lovely and warm for winter.

thank you-will add those to the list to have a look at as well.

Its the Spin Im really leaning towards...not because of the spin bit either lol although DH likes that bit! Has your friend had any problems with it at all?

a teutonia? and depending on your boot size you can fold with a carrycot still attached too! i have the spirit s3 and have just ordered the double! you can add either a soft or hard carrycot as an option. although if you decide you want one you will need to order it quick-ds' took 12 weeks and this time the wait is 10 weeks as they are all made to order.

Britax vigour 3 or 4 plus - dont have to have a carrycot as suitable from birth....instructions do say 'shouldnt' fold in one when parent facing but i do know my friend used to with hers....ours is in parent facing mode at mo but havent tried to do so iywswim, we got ours from kiddicare...the seat is very lone, has seperate leg/knee alterating bit Hmm not good explation, but basically not bucket seat so can sit up, lay down, and alter the leg bit if need, hood is huge! and gives excellant covereage, comes complete with warm sligtlhy padded apron, harness is very generous and has a bumper bar.....oh also brake system so easy to put on/off and basket a fair size...must say when i nipped to the shops for milk then come back with too many bags! Shock i have tied them to the handle and it copes very very well! a very sturdy pram! some say its heavy to lift, 2bh i havent noticed this and believe me im no body builder! its very smooth and light to push....I had had abdominal surgery and found this pram the easist to push
