Has anyone had any luck with changing a homebase order?

Hello.
Basically we rushed in to ordering our new kitchen, as dh is home very little it was one of the rare chances to choose together. Anyway I have been having nightmares about the black worktop, dh liked it I stupidly went along with it although not keen now want to change to a solid wood top.

Homebase being so helpful won't talk to me about changing worktop or anything to do with kitchen as it is all on my dh's name, (buy now pay in 6 months). All I really want to know is has anyone else changed their minds on their orders and been allowed to exchange or refund?
