I have an offer of moving there to a 2 bed house on off lordship lane. I currently live in a small 2 bed flat in sw1 near st james park.
Should I stay where I am or move? I'm worried because Wood green has a reputation for being a dangerous area. Would I be safe walking home at night on my own? I sometimes would be getting home at after 9pm. Also would it be an ok area to bring up a child (I can't afford to send private! and the ofsted reports for nearby schools don't look too good!)
In sw1 I live on a small estate but it is very safe no problems, very quiet. and obv very central. The only reason for moving would be to gain the garden and have a house as opposed to a flat. Is this a good enough reason and is it worth moving out of central london for?
pleasse give some advice as I'm very confused! Thanks.

I don't want to upset anyone who lives in Wood Green but personally I would stay where I was if you are reasonably happy there. If I was going to move try and get a bit further out of London.

Hope this helps. xx

yes itdoes help thanks me and dp had a long chat about it and we decided to stay where we are for the time being, as it is very safe and nice area. It was just the allure of a garden and an actual house that was tempting me, but on balance it is much better where we are now.
dp made the point aswell about moving further out of london if we did want garden/house.
