New staircase - glass instead of spindles - anyone know of suppliers or can recommend?

We are looking to have new staircase banisters fitted with glass instead of spindles. We're in the South about an hour outside of London.

Has anyone had one fitted? I'm trying to look for suppliers of the items or maybe a company who can come and do it.
TIA

There are lots of options. The main choice is whether you will still have a substantial handrail or not. If you do then something like this might be suitable (I don't know whether this particular company is any good btw).

If you want a frameless system, like this (again, no idea if the company is any good) then it is quite a different job and would probably need more work to the stair structure.

We would like a wooden frame with the glass in the center. Not the frameless type.

All new or trying to keep the existing timber?

The first link I gave is the sort of thing you want. The components are generally off the shelf. If you are replacing the timber then you'll need a joiner for those bits, and you might be able to find one who knows what they're doing with putting the glass in too. I'm not in your area so don't know anyone local I'm afraid.

we just done one
brought th handle and base rail already grooved for the glass.
Then got some oak newl cladding so we didnt have to replace ours.
we brought the glass from a local supplier and i fitted it.
cost around £800/900 for all materials
some unfinished pics attached

Our architect has designed one like this and having it made in sections from a local steel company and buying the glass from a local glazing company. The builders will assemble it on site. We are in East London but happy to get specific details from the architect if you would like?

Thanks dyne but I don't think we are after something very specific - just something more bog standard that we can pick up from a local merchants or company.

Our handrail will be hardwood sprayed to match the steel and the interior of our sliding doors. I think the structural glass is costing around £250-300. We will have two handrails and a 4m long balcony and total cost is £1000 so this is my estimate of one handrail.
