Smoke/heat detectors

Just had a gas safety check today guy checked both smoke/heat detector and carbon monoxide detector both sounded but 5 mins after when he was finishing up one went off no idea what one and only beeped twice is this normal after testing or would it be done too him running the hot water in kitchen etc

Ps it hasnt gone off again
