Blinds for bi folds

Hi, we're getting three pane Origin bi fold doors, 3.6m wide, 2.1m tall. Hadn't really thought about blinds beyond the fact that we definitely don't want the blinds that are actually built into the glass, I more wanted something that goes over the top. The guy came over today to measure up and asked me if I wanted Origin branded blinds, I didn't even realise they did the fabric and pleated ones that go over the glass until now, I just assumed I would have to source my own.

So, my question is, does anyone have either Origin blinds or can you recommend have another brand of generic blinds that you have used with your doors? Thanks

PS if you did do have Origin doors, what colour frame and door handle did you go with? I can't quite decide between anthracite grey and black grey frame and the brushed steel handles with an integrated lock or separate lock...

We have origin bifolds and went for slate grey and brushed stainless steel handles. Not sure what you mean about the lock though! We went with the internal blinds.

Thanks Marmite, will look up slate grey. Are you happy with the doors overall?

Handles - couldn't decide between these, the ones in the bottom row are premium priced options handles

Do you have to have blinds? Don't have origin doors, but like you didn't like the internal blinds, but we're not planning on installing blinds (we're not overlooked though if that makes a difference).

Yes we do need blinds, the back of the house is a total sun trap and the kitchen will be in this room. Currently unbearable to cook or be in any back room without blinds.
