Can anyone recommend an (architectural) interior designer who is focused, regularly works on refurbishment projects and familiar with the challenges of a small London flat in a early 20th century mansion block?
We have a one-bedroom flat, opposite British Library, which has been striped out and needs a total fit out. The project is not about knocking down/through walls, conversions, extensions etc.. rather it is all to do with working from scratch within the confines of the existing walls of each room to optimise the use of space / functionality / flexibility with aesthetic touch.
We tried to do it ourselves with ad hoc advise from here and there, but have never achieved anything, apart from wasting a lot of time (2 yrs) and money (indirectly). So we have now decided to hire a professional to work with us, help put together a well thought of detailed plan and to implement the ideas as effectively as possible.
Any suggestions / recommendations would be most appreciated.
