Following advice from my previous thread and decision to avoid argos. What is the best quality ikea bedroom furniture range?
It is for DD's (8) room, though I'm not limiting myself to the stuva range,
We've had a few Malm, the drawers do sag after 1-2 years.
I have an Odda wardobe, which i love but it is no longer on the uk site
Pax would probably be a bit more costly.

In the last few years we have tried:

A Brimnes for my daughter but the base of one of the drawers kept falling out as not wide enough and in time the rail which the drawer runs along fell off. They weren't over-filled at all so quite surprised.

We have a Hemnes in dark brown which looks lovely and has withstood 3 house moves. The bottom again fell out of one of the drawers which I think was entirely our doing, I filled full of spare sheets so was heavy.

Also had a Malm and been happy with this and not experienced any drawer sagging yet.

I can't recommend Meblik enough for kids furniture. It is so heavy and amazing quality for flat-pack - takes awhile to assemble as instructions not great but looks fab and so many design choices.

We have the malm drawers in our room and the pax wardrobe for ds. Ds has full length pull out baskets in the wardrobe that act as a chest of drawers as his bedroom is too small for a wardrobe and drawers. He has a 3 drawer malm bedside cabinet as you can match the pax doors to the malm range

Hi Peanuts79 there does not appear to be any Meblik on the website, I cant remember seeing any the last time I was in store a few months ago, is it equivelant to Stuva or is this something that you bought some time ago?

I have these and the bedside tables. Without a doubt the sturdiest and best quality built IKEA furniture I've ever had. The drawers seem soft closing, hard wearing, and aside from wooden dowels it's all metal bits joining it together. I can't remember the name of them sorry, but compared to Brimnes which I've also got they are the nuts. Brimnes just feels flimsy and cheap.

Twoboots1 - sorry for the confusion, yes a different site altogether. I've attached a pic of my daughter's furniture from them...

I love malm furniture and have it in my bedroom both at home and at my parents house (ok no longer mine but I picked it!). It's great and had no problems and no bottoms falling out. Bear in mind you mus fix it to the wall die to accidents with it falling over.

Think it's Nordli now you've said it - you'd need to check the site as I really can't remember. But I built them in pretty quick time, and even I struggled to believe they were IKEA!
