Yeah, not only am I a computer thickie (see name) but also a diy thicky too. Yesterday i painted an old pine floor white that had previously been varnished. I gave it a light sand but didn't use a primer/sealer because it's a large area & I couldn't be bothered. Today I've just seen that the pine colour has bled through the white, largely where the old furniture used to sit, strangely. Anyway, is there an easy remedy? Will a second coat really cover it or not? I suspect not. I can't face sanding such a large area, besides the paint isn't cured yet. I used 'Coo-var' white floor paint from the local builders depot.
